Change for the better

People who want to achieve better health are inevitably faced with change. It could be a change of diet, daily habits, medication, sleep, work environment or any other form of their lifestyle.
Let's look at change. What is it? The dictionary definition states the meaning as, "To become different or undergo
alteration. To undergo transformation or transition. To go from one phase to another."
As we go through life, we gain experience. Both good and bad experiences are part of our learning process.
Nothing in the universe happens by chance or accident. Everything in its totality is interacting. Flow of life depends on attraction and
repulsion. We can position ourselves in "fields of attraction" by choice or subconsciously. Making a choice for change involves visualizing the outcome, creating a plan, carrying out the action and correcting partial steps in the direction of our vision. Throughout all of this, the focus should be to enjoy the process.
When we bring the light into our lives, darkness disappears. When we adopt a lighter, more positive
position we can see, hear and feel better. This enables us to help others do the same so we can ultimately all achieve more happiness, health and love.

MORE TO THE STORY

All changes, even good ones, involve stress. Anytime you experience something outside the normal cycle of activities - or "change" in routine, stress occurs. How you deal with the stress makes all the difference in the state of your well being. Recognizing the signs of stress and being able to read your body when it signals them, is vital to your health and resulting happiness.
Some flags to watch for include:
- depression
- irritability
- backache
- headache
- digestion disorders including IBS, constipation, bloating
- grinding of teeth (bruxism)
- insomnia, fatigue
If stress doesn't let up, you have a greater chance of suffering physical illness (flus, colds), emotional problems and physical injuries.

COPING WITH STRESS
If you suspect you have stress in your life, talk to your care provider about ways to cope. Here are a few examples of simple ways to combat the ill effects of daily stress:

· Take a walk (even 20 min. a day will help).
· Breathe-a few deep, slow breaths to calm your system.
· Get more rest. Most of us are sleep deprived.
· Drink chamomile tea to soothe nerves.
· Stay away from caffeine.
· Laugh-one of the best and cheapest ways to relax.
· Meditate - or spend time just being still.
· Make sure you are drinking enough water.
· Connect with others-helping people is a great way to lose your troubles!

ENZYMES: A VITAL FORCE

Life as we know it could not exist without the action of enzymes, even in the presence of sufficient amounts of vitamins, minerals, water, and other nutrients. Enzymes convert the food we eat into chemical structures than can pass through the cell membranes of the cells lining the digestive tract and into the bloodstream. The blood is the transportation system that delivers nutrients, hormones, antibodies and oxygen to the cells, tissues and organs. No mineral, vitamin or hormone can do any work without enzymes, and every chemical reaction that takes place in the body including breathing, blinking our eyelids, thinking, sleeping, and digestion is enzyme-dependent. Enzymes, therefore, are essential to maintaining a healthy body, and deficiencies can lead to degenerative conditions.
One way to detect possible enzyme deficiencies in the body is with Live Blood Cell Analysis. Using a Darkfield Microscope, this type of analysis detects underlying imbalances that can be attributed in part to enzyme deficiencies. For example, indications of poor digestion, absorption, elimination, liver and bowel toxicity can be detected in live blood. This is valuable information in order for Dr. Nyvlt to prescribe enzyme therapy for you if needed.

How Healthy Are You?

Do you know research shows the average person reaches peak respiratory function and lung capacity in the mid 20's?
Do you know we begin to loose between 10% - 27% respiratory function for every decade of life?!
Unless you are doing something to maintain or improve your breathing capacity it will decline, and with it, your general health, life expectancy and your spirit.
Although breathing is a completely unconscious process, it can become an intentional, purposeful practice. Many teachings suggest that bringing consciousness to breathing is the link between the conscious and unconscious aspects of our being. Thus, breath is body-mind-spirit connection.
Breathing is a force, a tool for health, growth, and change. Just as single a thought is capable of changing your breathing pattern; your breathing is capable of changing your thoughts. When you change your breathing, you change your body chemistry and physiology. By adjusting your breathing you adjust the state of your mind and body. The way you breathe can enrich your health & well being. Or, how you breathe can degrade your health and well-being. You have 20,000 - 26,000 opportunities a day to impact your breathing. By learning breathing awareness and practicing conscious breathing techniques, you can literally change your life! Experience the difference.
